What tariffs does Corona Energy provide to SMEs?

Corona offers a range of gas and electricity tariffs to over 11,000 SME customers, with a raft of fixed-rate and flexible contracts available to suit the needs of SMEs of all shapes and sizes.

Corona Energy customise your price based on the size of your business and how energy intensive it is. All gas and electricity bills are paid by direct debit.

Fixed-rate tariffs for SMEs

Corona Energy’s fixed-rate tariffs can be fixed for up to 36 months, and all come with the option of 100% renewable electricity, which is particularly useful if your business has sustainability goals it wants to meet.

The following is an example of a 3-year fixed rate tariff:

Rate TypePrice fixed for three years
Price (per unit)23.56 Pence/Unit
Standing Charge (per day)117.14 Pence/Day
Total New Spend (per month)£349.70
Total New Spend (per annum)£4,196.35

The longer you fix your deal for, the more your unit price will be. However, the upside is that you are guaranteed to be protected against price fluctuations in the wholesale market.

Variable tariffs for SMEs

Corona Energy’s variable tariffs offer businesses greater flexibility in the management of their energy. Unit rates will fluctuate with the market, but businesses are able to cancel their energy contract at any time.

Below is an example of a variable tariff offered by Corona Energy:

Rate TypePrice variable for three years
Price (per unit)25.55 Pence/Unit
Standing Charge (per day)102.94 Pence/Day
Total New Spend (per month)£371.85
Total New Spend (per annum)£4,462.15

As you can see, the price per unit of energy is typically greater in a variable tariff than in a fixed-rate tariff. However, you are not locked into a contract for a fixed period, so if your business values flexibility or requires short-term power, then a variable tariff could be the right choice for you.

Deemed tariffs

If you are out of contract with Corona but still using their energy, the provider will place you on a deemed tariff.

The energy price for deemed contracts is always pricier than fixed rates and are subject to volatile changes. So, it is advisable to contact Corona energy and negotiate a new contract or switch supplier as soon as possible. What tariffs does Corona Energy provide to large businesses?

Corona Energy specialises in supplying multi-site organisations and large businesses. They offer a range of fixed-rate and flexible contracts, renewable products, and dedicated account managers to help large businesses manage their energy.

Their fixed-rate offering provides businesses with price certainty and stability by locking in a fixed unit price for a specified period, typically ranging from one to three years. This allows larger businesses to budget effectively and protect themselves against fluctuations in energy prices, providing peace of mind and financial predictability.

Corona Energy also has a host of flexible deals on offer, affording large businesses greater flexibility and control over their energy procurement strategy. These contracts typically feature variable pricing structures that fluctuate in line with market conditions, allowing businesses to take advantage of favourable market opportunities and optimise their energy costs.

Flexible deals include options like index-linked pricing and pass-through pricing, which can suit large businesses looking to take advantage of market conditions to get better bang for their buck.

By offering both fixed-rate and flexible-rate deals, Corona Energy caters to the diverse needs and preferences of larger businesses, providing them with tailored energy solutions to support their operational efficiency, cost management, and strategic objectives.
